The project tendered by Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality and partially completed by Atlasyol, included construction and installation of 21.000 units of 15 and 20 tons antifer blocks and approximately 3.000.000 tons of fill and marine armoring between 0,400 – 15 tons.

The breakwater heads at both ends were constructed in accordance with the antifer weaving style that would safely absorb the energy of the hitting waves. However, only 70% of the project could be completed because of insufficient funds.
The project, which will be built on an area of 900 decares if completed, will become a new entertainment, recreation, and cultural center of the city with children’s playgrounds, entertainment, catering, and recreation areas, 1 km long beach and a water sports center.
